Put Diatomateous Earth in Pine Cat Litter For An Odorless Litter Box

If you're owned by a cat (like I am) and you use/prefer natural pine pellet litter for the litter box, buy a bag of food grade DE (Diatomaceous Earth) and mix 1/2 to 3/4 cup of it into the litter. DE is an insecticide and gets rid of fleas, ticks and other pests, but it is also multi-use. This stuff mixed into litter eliminates strong urine smells that our feline family members are notorious for.

Only purchase DE that is labeled FOOD GRADE on the packaging.

I use the pine pellet litter called Feline Pine and DiatomaceousEarth.com's brand DE. I buy both online at Chewy.com. Pine litter and food grade DE are also sold at other major retail stores such as Petco, Walmart and Target.
